Calm amidst the chaos

What a year 2020 has been! As future healthcare providers, we learned to navigate the inevitable challenges introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic. While it was a confusing and challenging time, our collective efforts to work tirelessly made significant progress and improvements in combating this pandemic. In my recent visit to Muir Woods National Monument, I found myself surrounded by California redwoods that were easily a thousand-years-old. Watching these giants quietly thriving even after enduring numerous trials and tribulations during their long existence, I felt a sense of calm and conviction that this too shall pass. We will get through this together.
