5 Thriller shows to watch after clinic/ lab

As you all know 2020 hasn’t been an easy year, even more so if you are a dental student. I found the best way to relax after stressful patient appointment is to watch crime/thriller shows. Here are some of my recommendations (not for faint-hearted people)

1. Dexter (2006)

• Imdb – 8.6/10, rotten tomatoes – 71%

• Watch Option: Hulu

Dexter is a blood spatter analyst that kills people, but it is

hard to dislike him as he kills only other killers.

2. You (2018)

• Imdb – 7.7/10, rotten tomatoes – 90%

• Watch Options: Netflix

A brilliant bookstore manager meets a beautiful writer, crush turns into obsession and turns into something more sinister. If you miss dental school too much, there is a scene with human teeth.

3. What/If (2019)

• Imdb – 6.3/10, rotten tomatoes – 42%

• Watch Option: Netflix

This is more on the weirder side of the Netflix, but it will keep you guessing till the end. A investor supports a young entrepreneur but her motive will keep you on the edge till the end.

4. Bodyguard (2018)

• Imdb – 8.1/10, rotten tomatoes -93%

• Watch Option: Netflix

Looking for a protective figure and an independent female? Look no more.

5. Prodigal Son (2019)

• Imdb- 7.7/10, rotten tomatoes – 86%

• Watch option: Hulu

FBI profiler son is trying to prove to the world why he is different from his serial killer father.

(Honorary Mention) – The Voice (2017) Korean drama

• Imdb – 7.6/10

• Watch Option: Netflix

This is a good detective show where they find killers through voice profiling. You will have to read the subtitle but it is well worth it if you love a good problem solving thriller.
